What would you say are the key advantages of eSignature?

A handwritten signature is the most traditional, popular, and accepted form of authenticating an individual’s identity and self acknowledgement of consent and commitment. The challenge is in using it in an electronic method in such as way to comply with past and current legal tests. Topaz methodology emulates the pen on paper process and is easy to implement (through Sig Plus Software Development Tool Kit) and easy to understand by the legal community and forensic document examiners. The answer in the broader sense is that if the document, form or receipt is created on a computer then it can be signed with Topaz electronic signature technology in its original format. There is no need to not be green. more...

Private Webstore Development

eCommerce is becoming an increasingly vital element of any sales and marketing plan. It is one of the most efficient sales processes available and, according to Forrester Research, eCommerce sales will account for 54% of all retail computing products sales by 2010. That's an impressive figure.

As part of Computime's reseller marketing support program, RSVP, we design and develop private webstores for high-volume reseller channel partners. These stores streamline the purchase process as well as direct and track web traffic. Plus they enable Computime to report customer's buying patterns and offer special pricing and discounts.

Private Web Stores allow you to watch buying behaviors, analyze direct traffic, and work on specific conversion tactics. And they offer reseller partners special pricing, traffic control, message segmentation, and at the same time, protect the distribution channel, add a level of trust, integrity, and security for building relationships. AN UNCERTAIN ECONOMY DEMANDS STRATEGIC SALES PLANNING
Our plan is as powerful as it is simple.

There are many things in business we just can't control - the state of the economy is one of them. What we can control is how we react to down-turns in sales. Panic and indecisiveness is probably more to blame for decreasing sales than actual economic conditions. With that in mind, we wanted to offer reseller partners and end-user customers our perspective on how Computime has continued to sell eSignature Products in spite of the news.

Recent financial situations have companies around the world racing to cut costs, streamline operations, and brace for whatever challenges may lie ahead. Computime channel partners may be concerned about what this means for their sales forecast. End users may be concerned about how to justify purchases when budgets are strained. What an opportunity to sell or implement a technology that has an ROI/Cost Savings which is independent of the state of the economy.

Our experience has taught us that surviving an economic downturn requires making smart, measured changes to free up resources and maintain forward momentum. This includes taking a long, hard look at your sales strategy. Here are Computime’s top tips for strategic sales planning in an uncertain economy.

As the economy slows and organic demand diminishes, an emphasis on long-term value and return on investment (ROI) will be critical to generating sales stability and growth. In other words, no matter what business you’re in, sell the solution, not the product. Emphasize the savings, not the cost.

When planning your sales strategy, state the case for ROI by focusing on the following three central ideas: more...

 Topaz Products in the Marketplace
Topaz pads are a contributing factor to saving
Oakland County an estimated $4.2 million annually

The use of Topaz electronic signature capture pads within the OakVideo system has pushed Oakland County, Michigan to the forefront of technology pioneers in the law enforcement industry. Their video arraignment system has garnered many national and international awards, including the 2006 CIO 100 Award and the 2007 Award for Excellence from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.

Prior to implementing electronic signatures, officers often spent up to 4 hours shuttling between holding facilities and the courthouse to transport defendants and obtain signatures on court documents. This time-consuming, paper-intensive process is now accomplished in minutes. By cutting transportation and resource costs and allowing the reallocation of labor hours, Topaz pads have been a key enabling technology to saving Oakland County an estimated $4.2 million annually. Reducing the need to transport defendants has also increased the level of security and public safety throughout Oakland County.
