Meet the Man Behind the Booth

Think you’ve gone to a lot of trade shows? In Jim Fox’s sales and consulting career he estimates that he's logged booth & floor time at some 685 events. 1,875 days. 15,000 hours. We thought that made him the perfect person to help make over Computime's trade show program.

Last year we reached out to Jim, who was then a principal at Trade Show Synergies, a consulting company that focuses on maximizing companies' trade show participation ROI, to serve as Corporate Business Development Manager. His unique approach to trade show strategy and channel relationship development made us realize that:

It's not enough to just show up,
hand out freebies, and collect cards.

Each trade show presents a unique opportunity to maximize visibility and recognition and ensure that our exhibiting channel partners have the tools, resources, and knowledge to make Topaz eSignature capture products a highlight of every event.

Top 10 Reasons to Exhibit:

  1. Generate sales leads
  2. Build relationships
  3. Advance the sales cycle
  4. Recruit new distribution partners
  5. Increase product & brand awareness
  6. Meet with key customers & business partners
  7. Research competitive products
  8. Get market insight & keep up with industry trends
  9. Learn more about what our customers & prospects require
  10. Build your business

From event research & travel coordination to lead management, Jim's strategic input has set new standards of excellence for Computime's trade show program - in a year that saw economic forces challenge the most seasoned of exhibitors.

Now that you've learned which elements of trade show exhibition matter most to us, we want to to know what is important to you - and more importantly, "How can Jim help?" Click below to complete a brief survey of your 2010 trade show attendance plans and take the first step toward making Topaz eSignature capture the highlight of your next trip.

Traveling the Channel

Now that the 2009 Trade Show season has wound down, we're going to miss the face-to-face interaction with Topaz users we've grown so accustomed to on the road.

Whether answering your Topaz questions, hearing your eSignature capture success stories, or giving a basic rundown of what Topaz pads can do for your organization, the rapport we build with our customers is truly the highlight of our trade show season.

Fortunately, Computime doesn't plan to put away its wings. Now is the perfect time for our representatives to get out on the road for personal visits to channel partner and end user customer sites.

Make your company our next stop

What can you expect from a visit from a Computime Business Development Manager? One of our representatives recently spent a day on-site with a Topaz user in the Healthcare industry.  Here's a rundown of the trip's events:

a Meeting #1:  eSignature Product Education
Our representative met with the customer's IT staff to present educational information about Topaz products and provide guidance on handling questions that commonly arise with everyday signature pad use. This 'train the trainer' presentation covered signature pad features and industry-specific eSignature insight. Our representative brought demo models of all of the tablets supported by user's software provider, offering a glimpse at additional solution features and the potential future of their eSignature implementation. Request a personalized consultation today or browse the Topaz product catalog at the Computime Web Store.

a Meeting #2:  Staff Training
Our representative joined the end user's IT staff for a group training session with the employees who will use the Topaz pads everyday. The session covered basic workflow training, signature pad care and cleaning instructions, and tips for increasing patient acceptance of electronic document processes.  Learn more about the role of eSignatures in your market.

Scheduling an on-site visit from one of Computime's eSignature sales and marketing experts is fast and easy - just name the time and place! Click here to submit a request via eMail.
